Deleting your connected Instagram data

  1. Email us at hello@tokopo.co with the subject "Data deletion request", from an address you can be reached at, naming your Tokopo profile (the tokopo.co/creators/… link) or your Instagram username.
  2. What we delete: your stored access token, your claim record, and the verified link between your Instagram account and the profile. The profile loses its Verified mark.
  3. Timeline: deletion within 7 days; we reply from hello@ to confirm when it is done.
  4. The automatic path: removing Tokopo in your Instagram settings (Settings → Website permissions) triggers the same deletion via Meta's deauthorize notification — no email needed. Meta's data-deletion request flow is honored the same way; the confirmation code you receive can be checked at api.tokopo.co/data-deletion-status.

Deleting connected data vs. removing your profile

The steps above unwind your connected account — they do not remove your public profile from the index, which is computed from public YouTube activity. If what you want is a correction to your profile, or to request removal from the index, that path is disputes — corrections for factual errors are guaranteed, and removal requests are reviewed case by case.
